Abstract
The Bangor Dyslexia Test is known as an adequate tool for screening dyslexia in school children who are native speakers of English or other languages in which the Bangor Dyslexia Test is available (German, Greek, Japanese and Malay). This paper presents the results of the adaptation and validation of the test in three Iberian Romance languages (Spanish, Galician and Catalan) carried out on a sample of 739 participants aged 7 to 15 (355 dyslexics, 57 children with a report of literacy difficulties but with no record of dyslexia construct, and 327 participants with no difficulties in written language). Results suggest that the Spanish, Galician and Catalan versions of the Bangor Dyslexia Test are valid screening tools
