Abstract
El presente artículo recoge algunos de los resultados de una investigación,
a través de encuesta, realizada con 166 profesores de la Universidad de A
Coruña que utilizaban la plataforma de teleformación. Se presentan los
datos obtenidos respecto al grado de formación que poseen y el nivel de
uso que los docentes universitarios tienen respecto de herramientas de
infografía y multimedia. Se apreciaron niveles bajos de formación y de
uso, siendo las herramientas “tratamiento de imágenes” y “sistema de
autor” las que alcanzaron mayor y menor puntuación media, respectivamente. Los análisis inferenciales realizados determinaron que variables
personales (como la “edad”) y profesionales (“experiencia docente”, “experiencia docente universitaria utilizando entornos virtuales”, “categoría
administrativa” y “ámbito científico”) influyen significativamente en el
grado de formación. En cuanto al nivel de uso, las diferencias significativas se producen en función de la “experiencia docente utilizando entornos virtuales” y la “categoría administrativa”
This article gathers some of the results of a research carried out by means of a survey in which 166 professors of the Universidad de A Coruña were asked about the teletraining platform they make use of. The data gathered are related to the degree of training and the using levels that those teachers have of infographic and multimedia tools. The results show poor training and using levels, with the highest performance for the image processing and the author system tools (respectively high and average score). The intereference analysis that were carried out established that personal (such as the age) and professional (such as the teaching experience, university teaching experience based on the use of virtual environments, administrative category and scientific field) variables strongly influence the training degree. With regard to the using level, the authors assert that the significative differences are produced according to the teaching experience using virtual environments and the administrative category
