Abstract
[ES] En el primer capítulo demostraremos la existencia y unicidad del polinomio de interpolación
de Lagrange y obtendremos la fórmula de Newton. Además, justificaremos el uso
de las tablas de diferencias divididas para obtener la fórmula de Newton para el polinomio
de interpolación.
En segundo y tercer capítulo trataremos la existencia y unicidad del polinomio de
interpolación de Hermite. Demostraremos también algunos resultados relativos al error
para este tipo de interpolación.
Extenderemos la definición de diferencia dividida al caso de argumentos repetidos y
veremos que entonces el polinomio de Hermite se puede escribir en la forma de Newton.
[EN] In the first chapter we will show the existence and uniqueness of the Lagrange’s interpolation polynomial. We will obtain the Newton’s formula. Furthermore, we will justify the use of the divided differences tables to find the Newton’s formula for the interpolation polynomial. In the second and third chapter we will deal with the existence and uniqueness of the Hermite’s interpolation polynomial, as well as some error related results. We will extend the divided difference definition to the case of repeated arguments. We will prove that we can write the Hermite’s polynomial in the Newton’s form.
