Abstract
In this communication are some of the activities developed in the degree in Chemical
Engineering, to provide female referrals to engineering students. These activities,
which consist of writing the biography of an engineer in different formats, have been designed
in a way that also serves to improve students’ information skills, written communication
or critical thinking.
The results of this task have been satisfactory. On the one hand, students have increased
their knowledge about the contributions of women to engineering and, on the
other hand, there has been an improvement in skills, such as written communication.
