Abstract
En este artículo analizamos dos asuntos de gran relevancia educativa, estrechamente vinculados a los avances tecnológicos de las últimas décadas y
que han marcado el inicio de una revolución sin precedentes en la historia
contemporánea. De una parte, estudiamos las posibilidades de los dispositivos
tecnológicos como herramientas susceptibles de mejorar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en las aulas con heterogeneidad étnico-cultural. De otra
parte, examinamos la posible rentabilización de los dispositivos TIC en los
procesos de formación del profesorado a través del aprovechamiento de las
ventajas del espacio digital de comunicación y la creación de nuevos entornos
de interacción social.
Entre las conclusiones a las que llegamos destaca la necesidad de superar la
concepción excesivamente instrumental que habitualmente comporta el uso de
estos soportes mediante la configuración de nuevos espacios de colaboración
e intercambio de información y experiencias que, además de facilitar el desarrollo profesional de los docentes, favorezcan el desarrollo de competencias de
corte intercultural y estructuras de trabajo cooperativo en la red
In this article we analyze two issues of great educational importance that are closely linked to the technological advances of recent decades and that have marked the beginning of a revolution without precedent in contemporary history. On the one hand, we study the possibilities of technological devices as tools that can improve the teaching and learning in classrooms with ethnic-cultural heterogeneity. Furthermore, we examine the potential profitability of ICT devices in the process of teacher training through the use of the advantages of the digital media space and by means of creating new environments for social interaction. Among the conclusions achieved we can highlight the need to overcome the excessively instrumental conception which usually involves the use of these media by setting up new spaces of collaboration and exchange of information and experiences that, in addition facilitate the professional development of teachers, promote the development of intercultural competences and cooperative work structures on the network
