Abstract
[GL] O obxectivo principal deste traballo será estudar o procedemento para atopar solucións
dunha ecuación diferencial coñecido como método das sub e sobresolucións. Este método
céntrase principalmente na obtención do que chamaremos sub e sobresolucións do problema
para despois, grazas a diferentes resultados que presentaremos ao longo do traballo, poder
afirmar que o problema orixinal posúe unha solución entre estas dúas funcións.
Primeiramente sentaremos as bases do método para despois xeneralizar as hipóteses
utilizadas, por exemplo relaxando a suposición de continuidade. Enunciaremos tamén importantes propiedades que cumpren as solucións obtidas por este método. Finalmente botaremos un vistazo a outras formas de formular o problema, cambiando condicións de
fronteira ou engadindo dependencia na derivada.
[EN] The main goal of this work is to study the process of obtaining solutions of a differential equation known as the method of lower and upper solutions. This method is based on the idea of obtaining what is known as lower and upper solutions of the problem to then, thanks to the various results displayed along these pages, be able to ensure the existence of a solution for the original problem between these two functions. Firstly we will establish the foundations of the method and then we will generalize the hypotheses used, for example relaxing the assumption of continuity. We will also set forth relevant properties that the obtained solutions will satisfy. Finally we will look into other ways of formulating our problem, changing some boundary value conditions or including dependency on the derivative.
