Abstract

En los últimos años ha habido un gran desarrollo de técnicas topológicas para su aplicación para el análisis de datos. Dichas técnicas se engloban en lo que se suele llamar Topological Data Analysis (TDA). En este trabajo, además de dar las nociones elementales para su comprensión, describiremos las herramientas matemáticas inspiradas en la topología así como su uso que, para el estudio de la red cósmica, se presentan en el artículo Georg Wilding, Keimpe Nevenzeel, et al. (2021), Persistent homology of the cosmic web – I. Hierarchical topology in ΛCDM cosmologies, MNRAS 507, 2968–2990.
In recent years a large number of topological inspired tools are being developed for their application in data analysis. These tools are included in what is known Topological Data Analysis (TDA). In this work, in addition to the basic notions for its understanding, we will describe the mathematical techniques inspired by topology as well as its use, for the study of the cosmic web, presented in the article Georg Wilding, Keimpe Nevenzeel, et al. (2021), Persistent homology of the cosmic web – I. Hierarchical topology in ΛCDM cosmologies, MNRAS 507, 2968–2990.
