Abstract
La expresión corporal en la etapa de Educación Infantil es el primer sistema de
comunicación que le permite a los niños establecer relación con los demás, y la
calidad de este contacto determinará en el niño confianza en sí mismo, en los
otros y su gusto por la relación social. Dada la importancia de la educación
emocional en esta etapa educativa por su papel relevante en la construcción de
la personalidad e interacción social, el objetivo de este trabajo es valorar la
importancia del tratamiento de las emociones a través de la expresión corporal
en la segunda etapa de Educación Infantil (3-6 años), desarrollando una
propuesta de intervención educativa que muestre los beneficios de la
educación emocional en el desarrollo integral del niño. Se utiliza como
herramienta la expresión corporal, disciplina que permite al alumnado expresar,
crear y comunicar los contenidos de su interior, a la vez que conoce su cuerpo,
sus posibilidades de movimiento y el desarrollo de la motricidad en todos sus
