Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el nivel psicomotriz del alumnado de la etapa de Educación Infantil (mayores de 4 años y seis meses y menores de 5 años) de un colegio público gallego. Para ello, se diseñó un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal, en el que participaron 31 alumnos (20 niñas y 11 niños). Se aplicó el Test de la Batería MABC-2, recogiendo todos los datos en los cuadernillos propios del test. Los resultados sitúan al alumnado en una zona verde en la que no se detectan problemas de movimiento en cuanto a desarrollo motor para estas edades, situándose con una Puntuación Escalar media de 11,24. Se debería realizar un seguimiento continuo del trabajo motriz realizado con el alumnado de estas edades, tanto en el propio centro educativo como en horario extraescolar, donde las familias juegan un papel determinante, persiguiendo como objetivo el situar al alumnado en la parte media-alta de la zona verde de desarrollo motriz correcto y partiendo de los resultados de este test de evaluación.
The objective of this research was to determine the psychomotor level of the students of the Early Childhood Education stage (over 4 years and six months and under 5 years) of a Galician public school. For this, a quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study designed, in which 31 students participated (20 girls and 11 boys). The MABC-2 Battery Test was applied, collecting all the data in the test booklets. The results show students in a green zone in which no movement problems are detected in terms of motor development for these ages, with an average Scalar Score of 11,24. Continuous monitoring of the motor work carried out with students of these ages should be carried out, both in the educational centers and in extracurricular hours, where families have a decisive role, pursuing the objective of placing students in the upper-middle part of the green zone of correct motor development and based on the results of this evaluation test.
