Abstract
The problem of finding a social choice function in a given preference space has always been dominated by Arrow's and Chichilnisky's Impossibility Theorems. In this paper we shall try to solve this problem by studying the type of homotopy of the preference space. In order to carry out this work we will relate the concept of emphsocial complexity defined by Oprea, Lupton and Grant in 2018, with the topological complexity defined by Farber in 2003.
