Abstract
Introducción: La educación cultural y artística impacta en la conciencia cultural, apreciación del patrimonio, creatividad, sensibilidad y habilidades interpersonales y emocionales. Este estudio busca identificar las prácticas culturales de futuros docentes y su percepción sobre la importancia de integrar la educación cultural y artística en la educación primaria. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo con 107 estudiantes de España y Portugal, utilizando una encuesta mixta de 25 ítems para analizar sus percepciones. Resultados: Los resultados muestran una escasa participación en la vida cultural y artística, aunque se reconoce la necesidad de integrar la educación cultural y artística en la educación primaria. Discusión: Existe una incongruencia entre las creencias y las acciones personales, ya que, a pesar de valorar la educación cultural y artística, los estudiantes participan poco en actividades culturales. Conclusiones: Es crucial fomentar una mayor coherencia entre creencias y comportamientos, promoviendo una implicación más activa en actividades culturales para mejorar la integración de la educación cultural y artística en la educación primaria

This study aims to identify the cultural practices of future teachers and their perception of integrating cultural and artistic education in primary education. Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted with 107 students from Spain and Portugal using a mixed survey of 25 items to analyze their perceptions. Results: The results show low participation in cultural and artistic activities, although the need for integrating cultural and artistic education in primary education is recognized. Discussion: There is an incongruence between beliefs and personal actions, as students value cultural and artistic education but participate little in cultural activities. Conclusions: It is crucial to foster greater coherence between beliefs and behaviors, promoting more active involvement in cultural activities to enhance the integration of cultural and artistic education in primary education
