Abstract
El propósito de este artículo es el de conocer el impacto del uso de materiales
audiovisuales para el aprendizaje de danzas y bailes tradicionales en la formación inicial de
los futuros maestros de educación primaria. Para ello, se ha establecido una colaboración
entre el profesorado de las áreas de didáctica de la expresión corporal y musical que, junto
con el alumnado del Grado en Maestro/a de Educación Primaria, han elaborado una
propuesta novedosa a base de píldoras de conocimiento, para el aprendizaje de danzas y
bailes tradicionales de la comunidad autónoma en donde viven. Para el estudio del impacto
de este material en la formación del futuro profesorado, se recurrió a un grupo de discusión
con tres estudiantes que participaron en su diseño y grabación, así como a un cuestionario
sobre la pertinencia y utilidad de la propuesta docente elaborada. Este cuestionario ha sido
respondido por el 48% de los estudiantes de segundo curso del Grado en Maestro/a de
Educación Primaria que fueron usuarios de este material. Los resultados indican que la
mayoría de los estudiantes han utilizado los vídeos y los consideran bastante/muy útiles,
valorándolos positivamente. Asimismo, puede señalarse que el trabajo colaborativo entre
distintas áreas (expresión corporal y musical, en nuestro caso), favorece una mayor
comprensión del alumnado hacia los proyectos interdisciplinares, al tiempo que promueve
la adquisición de competencias profesionales
The purpose of this article is to get to know the impact the use of audiovisual materials has for the learning of traditional dances in the initial training of future teachers of primary education. For this reason, teachers from different fields (didactics of body and music expression) started to collaborate together with the students of the teaching degree in primary education with the aim of designing an innovative proposal based on knowledge pills, for the learning of traditional dances of the region where they live. For the study of the impact of this proposal in the training of future teachers, we draw upon a group discussion with three of the students who took part in the design of the teaching material as well as a questionnaire related to the relevance and usefulness of the teaching proposal. The questionnaire was answered by 48% of the students of the second year of the degree who had access to this resource. The results show that most of the students have used the vídeos and think they are quite/very useful, and assessed them positively. Furthermore, we can point out that collaborative work between different fields (body expression and music, in our case), promotes students’ understanding of interdisciplinary projects, as well as it helps promote the attainment of professional competencies.
