Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar las preferencias de interacción social (cooperación, competición, individualismo y afiliación) del alumnado de Educación Primaria y ESO en el área de educación física. El estudio se realizó en diferentes centros educativos de la provincia de Lugo. La muestra estuvo constituida por un total de 319 estudiantes, de los cuales 160 eran de Primaria y 159 de la ESO y suponiendo los niños un 53,6% y las niñas un 46,4%. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron diferencias estadísticas en el factor de etapa de cooperatividad (p = 0.002), competitividad (p = 0.003), individualismo (p <0.001) y afiliación (p = 0.003). En cuanto al sexo, se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre niños y niñas en la escuela secundaria en competitividad (p <0.001) y en individualismo (p <0.001) siendo más alta en niños que en niñas. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron una mayor preferencia por la cooperación y afiliación, siendo estos valores más altos en Primaria que en la ESO. Por su parte, en cuanto al género, se puede observar como las niñas tienen una mayor tendencia a la cooperación y afiliación que los niños
The aim of this research was determining social interaction preferences (cooperation, competition, individualism and affiliation) of Primary and Secondary Education students in the physical education area. The study was carried out in different educational centers of the province of Lugo. The sample consisted of a total of 319 students, of whom 160 were Primary and 159 of ESO and 53.6% were boys and 46.4% were girls. The results obtained showed statistical differences in the cooperativity stage factor (p = 0.002), competitiveness (p = 0.003), individualism (p <0.001) and affiliation (p = 0.003). Regarding gender, there were statistically significant differences between boys and girls in high school in competitiveness (p <0.001) and in individualism (p <0.001) being higher in children than girls. The results obtained showed a greater preference for cooperation and affiliation, these values being higher in Primary than in ESO. On the other site, in terms of gender, can be seen as girls have a greater tendency to cooperation and affiliation than boys
