Abstract
En este trabajo nos centraremos en el estudio de la Transformada de Laplace. Presentaremos conceptos básicos, como su definición, teoremas de existencia y unicidad y las principales propiedades, viendo después como se aplican estas para la resolución de ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias y ecuaciones diferenciales parciales. Por último, veremos como se utiliza la Transformada de Laplace para resolver un problema realista como es la dispersión de un contaminante en la atmósfera.
In this memory we will focus on the study of the Laplace Transform. We will present basic concepts, as its definition, existence and uniqueness theorems and the main properties, then we will see how these are applied to solve ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations. Finally, we will see how the Laplace Transform is used to solve a realistic problem such as the dispersion of a pollutant in the atmosphere.
