Abstract
This dissertation sets out two versions of the Discrete Hodge Decomposition theorem: one of them in the simplicial complex context and another one in the context of graphs. Afterwards, we apply each one of them over the study of rating systems (rankings). Notably, we read each of the factors involved on the Hodge decomposition in terms of rankings.
