Generación de medidas

Abstract

En este trabajo trataremos aspectos generales de la teoría de la medida para, posteriormente, centrarnos en la construcción y las propiedades de la medida de Lebesgue-Stieltjes. Comenzaremos introduciendo un álgebra de conjuntos para construir sobre él la medida mencionada. A continuación, probaremos ciertos teoremas de extensión de medidas y, trabajando con la medida exterior, seremos capaces de construir el espacio de medida de Lebesgue-Stieltjes. Finalmente, estudiaremos algunas propiedades interesantes sobre su estructura y forma y trataremos el caso de conjuntos que no son medibles con respecto a la medida de Lebesgue-Stieltjes.In this work we will deal with general aspects of measure theory and then focus on the construction and properties of the Lebesgue-Stieltjes measure. We will begin by introducing an algebra of sets in order to construct on it the mentioned measure. Then, we will prove certain measure extension theorems and, working with the exterior measure, we will be able to construct the Lebesgue-Stieltjes measure space. Finally, we will study some interesting properties about its structure and form and we will treat the case of sets that are not measurable with respect to the Lebesgue-Stieltjes measure
