El turismo en el medio rural de España

Abstract

[ESP] Para la elaboración del presente artículo se ha realizado una revisión del estado del arte en torno al tema del uso del Turismo en el Medio Rural como herramienta de Desarrollo Sostenible, puesto que es ya evidente que los nuevos usos del espacio rural a partir del ocio y el turismo están cambiando y diversificando las economías rurales. Para ello se han revisado las distintas políticas públicas de Desarrollo, y se han estudiado tanto las definiciones como las legislaciones existentes en España en el tema del Turismo Rural. Ante la cantidad de información existente sobre el diagnóstico, el funcionamiento y las opciones futuras de las distintas iniciativas públicas de Desarrollo, realizaremos un resumen de la misma, con el fin de contextualizar o enmarcar la actual diversificación de actividades productivas en el medio rural, entre las que cada vez cobra más importancia el Turismo Rural.[ENG] To prepare this paper, it was necessary to carry out a revision of the state of the art about the use of Tourism in the Rural Environment as a tool for Sustainable Development, as it is now clear that new uses of rural areas for leisure and tourism are changing and diversifying rural economies. Existing Development public policies were revised and existing definitions and legislations that deal with Rural Tourism in Spain were studied. In view of the amount of information existing about diagnosis, operation and future options for the different.
