Os números índice

Abstract

O obxectivo deste traballo é facer unha revisión bibliográfica dos números índice. Estudaranse así, en profundidade, os diversos tipos de números índice, tanto os números índice simples coma os complexos. Dentro dos números índice simples, veranse tanto os números índice simples en serie como os números índice simples en cadea, relacionando uns con outros. Da mesma maneira, dentro dos números índice complexos veranse tanto os ponderados como os non ponderados. A utilidade práctica desta ferramenta estatística clásica será ilustrada a través de varios exemplos reais. Os prezos de carburantes e combustibles rexistrados en España ao longo de 2021 empregaranse como exemplo a medida que se van introducindo na memoria os distintos tipos de números índice. Finalmente, realizaremos unha análise exhaustiva dos prezos da electricidade en España, da enerxía de peche e tamén da demanda enerxética en Galicia e Andalucía. En resumo, buscamos facer unha revisión bibliográfica, pois queremos mostrar a gran importancia que presentan os números índices, e para isto, xunto coas definicións pertinentes, iremos introducindo exemplos reais interesantes e que presentan certa relevancia na actualidade. Así, se buscará dar unha análise bastante completa e o máis actual posible dos números índices.The aim of this paper is to make a bibliografic revision of the index numbers. Therefore, we will study, in depth, the different types of index numbers: the simple index numbers and the complex ones. In the simple index numbers, we will study the simple index numbers in series as well as the simple index numbers in chain, and, what´s more, we will also relate one with another. At the same time we will study the complex index numbers, the weighted ones and the non weighted ones. We will introduce in order to ilustrate this different types of index numbers, a bunch of real cases in order to demonstrate the great utility they present nowadays.The practical utility of this classical statistical tool will be illustrated through several real examples. The prices of fuels registered in Spain throughout 2021 will be used as an example of the different types of index numbers are entered in the memory. Finally, we will carry out an exhaustive analysis of two prices for electricity in Spain, for bulk energy and also for energy demand in Galicia and Andalucía. Summarising, we will try to make a bibliografic revision, as we want to show the great importance index numbers present, and, to to this, with the pertinent definitions, we will introduce real examples certainly interesting, about present issues. This way, we will try to give a quite complete revision of the index numbers.
