Abstract
Estudio exploratorio en el que se identifican las necesidades de educación patrimonial de 40 docentes de las etapas de infantil, primaria y secundaria de dos centros educativos de la provincia de A Coruña. El objetivo principal se basa en el diagnóstico de necesidades y la formulación de metas y objetivos para el diseño e implementación de programas específicos de educación patrimonial. Para la recogida de información se optó por un método mixto, con un cuestionario formado por ítems cerrados y abiertos. La información se analizó a partir de variables incluidas en cuatro dimensiones creadas a partir de los datos: formación; contexto social; metodología y resultados esperados de un programa de educación patrimonial. Entre los resultados más relevantes se encuentran: a) la necesidad de formación específica en educación patrimonial y b) la necesidad de contar con materiales específicos para trabajar sobre el patrimonio local. Este estudio muestra varias líneas en las que sería deseable trabajar para la implementación de programas o prácticas de educación patrimonial: la adecuación de los diseños al diagnóstico de necesidades, la incidencia en la formación en educación patrimonial tanto inicial como continua del profesorado y la relación y vinculación de los programas con el entorno local de los centros.
Exploratory study in which the patrimonial education needs of 40 teachers from the infant, primary and secondary stages of two educational schools in the province of A Coruña are identified. The main objective is based on the diagnosis of needs and the formulation of goals and objectives for the design and implementation of specific heritage education programs. For the collection of information, a mixed method was chosen, with a questionnaire consisting of closed and open items. The information was analysed from variables included in four dimensions created from the data: training; Social context; methodology and expected results of a heritage education program. Among the most relevant results are a) the need for specific training in heritage education and b) the need to have specific materials to work on local heritage. This study shows several lines in which it would be ideal to work for the implementation of patrimonial education programs or practices: the adaptation of the designs to the diagnosis of needs, the incidence in the initial and continuous patrimonial education training of the teaching staff and the relationship and linking of the programs with the local environment of the schools.
