Unha introdución ós grupos topolóxicos

Abstract

[GL] Un espazo topolóxico que tamén é un grupo tal que a multiplicación e a inversión son continuas é un grupo topolóxico. Neste traballo estudaremos propiedades da topoloxía xeral dos grupos topolóxicos, os homomorfismos entre eles, os seus subgrupos topolóxicos, os seus espazos cocientes e os seus produtos. Ademais trataremos os axiomas de separación, metrizabilidade, compacidade, compacidade local e conexión no contexto dos grupos topolóxicos

[EN] A topological space that is also a group such that the multiplication and the inversion are continuous is a topological group. In this work we study general topology properties of topological groups, the homomorphisms between them, their topological subgroups, their coset spaces and their products. We also consider the axioms of separation, metrizability, compactness, local compactness and connectedness in the context of topological groups.
