Necesidades de orientación profesional de las mujeres gallegas en función de la edad

Abstract

En la actual situación de crisis en la que nos encontramos, la orientación profesional debe atender, en mayor medida y teniendo en cuenta los diversos factores que provocan que la situación laboral empeore, las necesidades profesionales de la población adulta, y orientar su itinerario formativo y/o laboral para su posterior inserción en el mercado de trabajo, de acuerdo con sus características personales. Los objetivos del estudio descriptivo que se presenta son identificar las necesidades de orientación percibidas en la edad adulta y analizar si existen diferencias significativas en las mismas. La muestra del estudio, realizado en el año 2012, está conformada por 310 mujeres gallegas en edad laboral, de las cuales 50 tienen menos de 25 años; 55 se encuentran entre 25 y 30 años; 159 mujeres tienen entre 31 y 45 años y, 46 son mayores de 45 años. Los datos se recabaron a través de un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc las por investigadoras del proyecto interuniversitario ORIEM que se ha llevado a cabo en cinco comunidades autónomas (Andalucía, Aragón, Canarias, Castilla-León y Galicia). Los resultados obtenidos señalan un nivel intermedio-alto de necesidades en las dimensiones: autoexploración, formación, toma de decisiones, búsqueda de empleo, gestión y puesta en práctica del proyecto. In the current crisis situation in which we find ourselves, vocational guidance must meet, to a greater extent and taking into account the various factors that cause the labor situation worse, the professional needs of the adult population, and guide your training and/or employment route for its subsequent inclusion in the labor market, in accordance with their personal characteristics. The objectives of the descriptive study presented are identifying orientation needs perceived in adulthood and examine whether there are significant differences in relation to the age of the surveyed women. The sample of the study, conducted in 2012, is composed of 310 Galician women in working age, of which 50 have less than 25 years; 55 are between 25 and 30 years; 159 women have between 31 and 45 years, and 46 women are older than 45 years.. The data were collected through a questionnaire designed ad hoc by researchers of the interuniversity project ORIEM, which has been conducted in five regions (Andalucía, Aragón, the Canary Islands, Castilla-León and Galicia). The results obtained indicate a high-intermediate level of needs in dimensions: self-exploration, training, decision-making, job search, management and project implementation.
