El debate abierto en torno a los constructos historia nacional/historia regional afecta también a la historia de la educación. Un debate suscitado entre nosotros: por la sentida necesidad de revisión de una tradicional historia unitarista y de molde único, por la observación de las limitaciones epistemológicas de la historiografía estructuralista, y por la toma en consideración de las contribuciones postestructuralistas. The debate surrounding the constructs national history/regional history also affects the history of education. This is a debate which has been instigated by us: because of the heartfelt need to revise a traditionally unitarian and single-model history, because of the awareness of the epistemological limitations of a structuralist historiography, and because of the consideration of post-structuralist contributions.
