dc.description.abstractWater reduction can be electrochemically promoted by zinc under very mild conditions, as demonstrated by the formation of the complex [Zn(H2O)6]Zn3(L)3(mu3-O)], whose anion consists of a Zn3O4 cluster incorporating a mu3-oxo anion.
