Abstract
La Sociedad del Conocimiento implica nuevas estrategias metodológicas con respecto a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Las nuevas sinergias generadas a partir del concepto de aprendizaje a lo largo de toda la vida de los ciudadanos conceden a la educación electrónica un papel relevante como medio para el advenimiento de entornos generadores de aprendizaje novedosos. Las nuevas dinámicas producidas a partir de la relación información, conocimiento y educación necesitan de una revisión conceptual, así como de propuestas de intervención pedagógica en tanto que factor clave de calidad. La Unión Europea, consciente de esta necesidad, ha propiciado políticas cuyas metas son la competitividad, la calidad de vida y la alfabetización digital de sus ciudadanos. Hoy podemos afirmar que la educación electrónica es un objetivo de la educación en la sociedad del conocimiento y un instrumento de desarrollo de la educación en la sociedad contemporánea
The Knowledge Society implies new methodological strategies with respect to education and learning. The new synergies generated from the concept of lifelong learning for the citizens grant to the e-education an outstanding role as a mean for the coming of novel generating environments of learning. New the dynamic ones produced from the relation between information, knowledge and education need a conceptual revision as well as proposals of pedagogical intervention like key factor of quality. The European Union is conscious of this necessity, and so she has made policy whose attainment is the competitiveness, the quality of life and the digital alphabetization of their citizens. Nowaday we can assume that the e-education is an objective of the education in the knowledge society and besides an instrument for development of the education in the contemporary society
