Abstract
A adolescencia é unha etapa do desenvolvemento caracterizada por unha maior
inestabilidade e vulnerabilidade emocional que outros períodos vitais. Ademais, poden
coexistir múltiples factores de risco, que neste estadío facilitan a aparición de problemas de
depresión e ansiedade, os cales afectan tanto ó benestar inmediato coma o desenvolvemento
futuro dos mozos e mozas.
Para paliar isto, exponse unha proposta de intervención que consiste no deseño de
dous obradoiros educativos que teñen como obxectivo a prevención de problemas de
depresión e ansiedade en adolescentes dende o marco teórico da Aprendizaxe
Socioemocional (SEL, en inglés).
Dado que este traballo está vencellado a un dispositivo de prácticas, a metadoloxía de
traballo é a típica que emprega a Fundación Igaxes nos seus obradoiros educativos, polo que
ambos contan coas seguintes características: 1) son programas de prevención universal, 2)
están concibidos para ser impartidos enteiramente na aula, e 3) constan de 4 sesións de
aproximadamente 60 minutos desenvoltas durante un mes.
Ao longo deste traballo farase unha descición detallada da base teórica, a metodoloxía
e os contidos de ambos obradoiros. E finalmente, debido a que non se puideron executar os
plans de intervención, farase tamén unha valoración crítica de ambas propostas de
intervención dende un punto de vista conceptual máis que empírico
Adolescence is a stage of development characterized by greater instability and emotional vulnerability than other life periods. In addition, multiple risk factors can coexist, which at this stage facilitate the appearance of depression and anxiety problems that affect both the immediate well-being and the future development of young people. To mitigate this, the present work exposes two intervention proposals that aim to prevent problems of depression and anxiety in adolescents from the theoretical framework of the Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL). Since this work is associated with a practicum dispositive, the methodology is the one used by the Igaxes Foundation in its educational workshops, so both proposals: 1) are universal prevention programs, 2) are designed to be taught in the classroom, and 3) consist of 4 sessions of aproximately 60 minutes developed over the course of a month . Throughout this work, a detailed description of the theoretical basis, methodology and contents of both workshops will be made. Finally, due to the fact that the intervention plans could not be implemented, a critical assessment of both programs will be made from a conceptual rather than an empirical point of view
