Unha introdución á interpolación por funcións spline

Abstract

[GL] Neste texto faremos unha introdución á interpolación polinómica de Lagrange e veremos as principais desvantaxes deste método, que motivan a aparición dos splines. Seguidamente trataremos o proceso de interpolación polinómica con funcións spline, centrándonos nos de grao tres por ser os máis empregados na práctica.

[EN] In this text we will introduce Lagrange polynomial interpolation and we will see the main disadvantages of this method that motivate the appearance of splines. Then we will treat the process of spline polynomial interpolation, focusing on third degree splines as they are the most used in practical contexts.
