Abstract
As radiotelevisións estatais públicas da Unión Europea están implementando paulatinamente novas fórmulas de comunicación para favorecer a interactividade e a xeración de conversa mediática coas audiencias. A pesar das reticencias iniciais, as vinte eoito corporacións analizadas apostaron polo social media e dispoñen de contas en redes sociais, principalmente en Facebook e Twitter, aínda que tamén en Youtube e Linkedin. Esta investigación ofrece unha foto fixa da presenza das radiotelevisións públicas europeas nas redes sociais en novembro de 2014 no que se refire a número de contas, uso e seguidores. Ademais, detéctase que as corporacións carecen, en xeral, de directrices que guíen o seu quefacer neste eido tan diferente ao da comunicación tradicional. A metodoloxía empregada nesta investigación baseouse na observación das redes sociais de todos e cada un dos entes analizados así coma na indagación e análise de contido das guías editoriais sobre social media das corporacións de Austria, Bélxica, Finlandia, Francia, Irlanda, Reino Unido e Romanía
Public radiotelevisions in European Union are gradually implementing new ways of communication to encourage interactivity and generate mediatic conversation with media audiences. Despite initial reluctance, the twenty-eight corporations analyzed in this study opted by social media and have accounts on social networks, especially Facebook and Twitter, but also on Youtube and Linkedin. This research provides a snapshot of the presence of European public broadcasting service in social networks in November 2014 in terms of number of accounts, use and followers. In addition, it detects that corporations, in general, lack guidelines which guide its task in this area so different from the traditional media. The methodology used in this research was based on the observation of social networks to each and every one of the companies as well as the investigation and analysis of the content of the editorial guidelines on social media of corporations in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, UK and Romania
