Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las características de los rasgos de dureza emocional (DE) secundarios en población infantojuvenil, así como sus principales correlatos. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de estudios empíricos, considerando aspectos metodológicos como el tipo de diseño, las características muestrales, los instrumentos de evaluación y las variables asociadas. Los hallazgos principales indican que los rasgos de DE secundarios se asocian con elevados niveles de desregulación emocional, dificultades en el procesamiento afectivo, experiencias tempranas adversas y estilos parentales disfuncionales. Asimismo, se evidencia una notable heterogeneidad conceptual y evaluativa en la literatura, lo que pone de relieve la necesidad de avanzar hacia un marco teórico y metodológico más unificado. A partir de estos resultados, y con el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo de intervenciones más específicas, se presenta una propuesta adaptada de la terapia PCIT-CU dirigida a niños con rasgos de DE secundarios, estructurada en tres módulos y centrada fundamentalmente en el entrenamiento parental y el desarrollo emocional
This study aims to analyze the characteristics of secondary Callous-Unemotional (CU) traits in children and adolescents, as well as their main correlates. To this end, a systematic review of empirical studies was conducted, taking into account methodological aspects such as study design, sample characteristics, assessment instruments, and associated variables. The main findings indicate that secondary CU traits are associated with high levels of emotional dysregulation, difficulties in affective processing, early adverse experiences, and dysfunctional parenting styles. Furthermore, the literature reveals considerable conceptual and evaluative heterogeneity, highlighting the need to move toward a more unified theoretical and methodological framework. Based on these results, and with the aim of contributing to the development of more specific interventions, an adapted PCIT-CU therapeutic proposal is presented, targeting children with secondary CU traits and structured into three modules focused primarily on parental training and emotional development
