Transformacións e permanencia do municipium na Gallaecia baixo-romana (séculos III-V)

Abstract

Examínase a evolución do entramado organizativo local da Gallaecia entre os séculos III e V, determinando as trasformacións experimentadas polo municipium asentado nos séculos anteriores e incardinándoas na análoga evolución do Occidente coetáneo. Saliéntase finalmente a aparente permanencia post-romana da estrutura básica deste réxime organizativoSe examina la evolución del entramado organizativo local de la Gallaecia entre los siglos III y V, determinando las transformaciones experimentadas por el municipium asentado en los siglos anteriores e incardinándolas en la análoga evolución del Occidente coetáneo. Se destaca finalmente la aparente permanencia posromana de la estructura básica de este régimen organizativoThis paper examines the evolution of local organizative framework of Gallaecia between the 3rd and 5th centuries, determining certain transformations of the municipium settled since the previous centuries and contextualizing them in the analogous evolution of the contemporary West. Finally it is stressed the apparent post-Roman permanence of the basic structure of this organizative regime
