Abstract
El artículo examina la representación de género en materiales didácticos digitales (MDD) sobre educación sexual disponibles en las plataformas Procomún (España) y MECRED (Brasil). El objetivo es analizar y comparar estos recursos desde una perspectiva de género, atendiendo a aspectos como roles y estereotipos, uso del lenguaje inclusivo, visibilidad de las mujeres y presencia de la diversidad LGBTIQ+. Para ello, se aplicó un análisis de contenido con un enfoque mixto, apoyado en un instrumento de evaluación elaborado a partir de investigaciones previas. Los resultados evidencian carencias comunes: predominan enfoques binarios, visiones normativas de la sexualidad y una representación limitada de identidades no hegemónicas. En los materiales españoles se detecta una mayor intención de cuestionar estereotipos, pero sin propuestas pedagógicas claras ni recursos didácticos sólidos. En cambio, los materiales brasileños presentan un diseño visual más cuidado, aunque con un enfoque tradicional centrado en la prevención de riesgos y escasa apertura a la diversidad sexual y de género. El estudio concluye con la necesidad de actualizar los MDD desde un enfoque feminista, inclusivo e interseccional que promueva una educación sexual de calidad.
The objective is to analyse and compare these resources from a gender perspective, paying attention to aspects such as gender roles and stereotypes, use of inclusive language, visibility of women and presence of LGBTIQ+ diversity. For this purpose, a content analysis with a mixed approach was applied, supported by an evaluation instrument developed from previous research. The results reveal common shortcomings: binary approaches, normative views of sexuality and a limited representation of non-hegemonic identities predominate. The Spanish materials show a greater intention to question stereotypes, but without clear pedagogical proposals or solid didactic resources. In contrast, the Brazilian materials present a more careful visual design, although with a traditional focus on risk prevention and little openness to sexual and gender diversity. The study concludes with the need to update the ESDs from a feminist, inclusive, and intersectional approach that promotes quality sex education.
