Abstract
Alcanzar una medida fiable y válida de la satisfacción de los usuarios con un servicio es una de las mayores preocupaciones para cualquier gestor. En el caso de un servicio sanitario se ha demostrado además que la satisfacción de los pacientes incide en la adherencia al tratamiento y en los resultados a nivel clínico. En este estudio, a partir de la realización de una encuesta personal a 1.976 usuarios de casi un centenar de centros de salud de la comunidad gallega, se ha intentado desarrollar una escala de satisfacción con los servicios sanitarios de atención primaria que posea unas características psicométricas aceptables, que recoja las principales dimensiones de este tipo de servicios y, al mismo tiempo, que sea breve y de fácil aplicación. Los resultados obtenidos permiten presentar una escala de 11 ítems con una buena fiabilidad (α= 0.82) y validez, y con amplias posibilidades a nivel de gestión, ya que permite hacer un primer diagnóstico del funcionamiento de un centro de salud.
To obtain a reliable and valid measure of the users satisfaction with a service is one of the main concerns to the mangers. In the case of health services is proved that patient satisfaction affects to treatment adherence and clinical outcomes. In this study, from a survey of 1.976 users and one hundred of health centers in Galicia (Spain), a satisfaction scale with primary health services has been developed. This scale has an acceptable psychometric properties, gather the major dimensions of these services, and at the same time it is short and easy to apply. The results allows us to present a 11-items scale with a good reliability (α= 0.82) and validity, and with large possibilities in order to manage health services, providing an initial diagnostic of health centers.
