Texto y discuso: Propuesta teórica para su didáctica en Educación Secundaria por medio de la multimodalidad

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los significados atribuidos a los conceptos de texto, discurso, tipología textual y tipología discursiva o modos de organización del discurso que aparecen en el currículum oficial de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y del Bachillerato y, concretamente, en el fragmento correspondiente a la asignatura Lengua Castellana y Literatura. La revisión del mencionado currículum indica que, en muchos casos, nos vemos en la necesidad de proponer exámenes de producciones textuales para cuya comprensión, y debido a su complejidad, no son suficientes los conceptos de tipología textual y tipología discursiva. A este respecto, se proponen dos nuevas formas de tipología que atañen al soporte y al formato. Acometer el análisis de estos productos textuales complejos supondrá, sin embargo, tener que acudir a métodos que van más allá de la lingüística del texto como, por ejemplo, la multimodalidad, que nos permitirá hacer un análisis de conjunto en el que caben, simultáneamente, las cuatro tipologías mencionadas.

The aim of this article is to analyze the meanings attributed to the concepts of text, discourse, textual typology and discursive typology or modes of discourse organization that appear in the official curriculum of Compulsory Secondary Education and the Baccalaureate and, specifically, in the fragment corresponding to the subject of Spanish Language and Literature. The review of the aforementioned curriculum indicates that, in many cases, we find necessary to propose examinations of textual productions for whose comprehension, and due to their complexity, the concepts of textual typology and discursive typology are not sufficient. In this respect, two new forms of typology are proposed which concern the medium and the format. However, undertaking the analysis of these complex textual products will mean having to resort to methods that go beyond text linguistics, such as multimodality, which will allow us to carry out an overall analysis in which the four typologies mentioned can be included simultaneously.
