On the connection between Stieltjes differential equations and ordinary differential equations

Abstract

In this work, we establish a link between Stieltjes differential equations and ordinary differential equations, allowing for the transformation of one into the other. As applications, we prove Binding's theorem for the equation xg′=f∘x, as well as a topological result used in the theory of differential equations.
