Abstract
El sistema educativo español reconoce la importancia del desarrollo de hábitos saludables, el ejercicio físico y el deporte como medios para favorecer el desarrollo personal y social del alumnado, siendo considerada la etapa de Educación Infantil como un momento crítico en el desarrollo psicomotriz del alumnado. Este trabajo emerge para, como punto de partida, analizar el nivel psicomotriz del alumnado de 4º de infantil de un centro de educación infantil, y posteriormente, plantear una propuesta de mejora en el ámbito de la psicomotricidad, ya que se ha observado que el alumnado tenía algunas dificultades en su día a día en el aula. Se diseñan 9 actividades que contribuyan a identificar cuáles son las capacidades motrices más afianzadas y cuales las menos, con el fin de reforzarlas y así ayudar al alumnado a ser más autónomos y a tener más posibilidades de movimiento para que puedan explorar y conocer mucho mejor el mundo que les rodea. Tras la intervención, los resultados indican que la mayoría del alumnado participante responde favorablemente a los ítems objeto de evaluación. A la vista de los resultados, parece ser que, el fomento de actividades de psicomotricidad en edad infantil tiene impacto en el desarrollo de las habilidades motoras.
The Spanish educational system recognizes the importance of the development of healthy habits, physical exercise and sports as means to promote personal and social development of students, being considered the stage of Early Childhood Education as a critical moment in the psychomotor development of students. This work emerges for, as a starting point, to analyze the psychomotor level of the 4th year student body of a child education center, and later, to propose a proposal for improvement in the field of psychomotor skills, since it has been observed that the students, he had some difficulties in his day to day in the classroom. 9 activities are designed to help identify which are the most established motor skills and which are the least, in order to reinforce them and thus help students to be more autonomous and have more possibilities of movement so that they can explore and know much better the world That surrounds them. After the intervention, the results indicate that the majority of the participating students respond favorably to the items under evaluation. In view of the results, it seems that, the promotion of psychomotor activities in childhood, has an impact on the development of motor skills.
