Abstract
Based on the orally tradition, we have studied three zones with ancient occupation at Rioja la Alta confirmed by archaeological charts has led to the discovery of three areas: a pre-Roman settlement on La Mesa de Irion, a Roman pottery in Las Regaderas, and remains of Roman–medieval materials at Sansoto. These sites have been integrated into the landscape and its people, creaing legends and memories with them, as they no longer would include in another context. It is in these areas where people mined for generations archaeological materials, which to date had generated little interest. With this atricle we presented the results of our prospections and laboratory works.
