Abstract
[ES] En este trabajo estudiaremos los principales modelos epidemiológicos de tipo compartimental, todos ellos modelados a partir de sistemas de ecuaciones diferenciales. Se analizará
el comportamiento de sus soluciones con el objetivo de predecir y explicar a priori la evolución de una enfermedad infecciosa en una determinada población. Esto permitirá actuar
con antelación en este tipo de amenazas, adoptando las medidas de protección necesarias
para el control de la situación. Entre ellas destaca el aislamiento de los individuos o la
vacunación, que suavizarán considerablemente el conocido como pico de la infección.
[EN] In this report we will study the main compartmental epidemiological models, all of them modeled by sistems of differential equations. The behavior of its solutions will be analyzed in order to predict and explain in advance the evolution of an infectious disease in a certain population. This will allow to act a priori in this type of threatening situation, adopting the necessary protection measures to control the situation. Among them, the isolation of individuals or vaccination stands out, which will considerably soften the so called peak of the infection.
