Abstract
El trabajo comienza dando una breve introducción a la teoría de juegos, haciendo mención a sus distintas ramas y algunos de sus principales campos de aplicación. Los Capítulos 1 y 2 están dedicados a los juegos no cooperativos en forma estratégica. En el primero se introducen algunos conceptos básicos y se presentan varios teoremas sobre la existencia y unicidad de equilibrio, para después, en el segundo, describir dos modelos de oligopolio y calcular sus equilibrios bajo distintas circunstancias. Los Capítulos 3 y 4 se centran en el estudio de juegos cooperativos o coalicionales. En el Capítulo 3 se introducen los juegos cooperativos con utilidad transferible, mientras que en el Capítulo 4 hablaremos de juegos cooperativos sin utilidad transferible, proporcionando en ambos ejemplos para comprender su utilidad en los mercados y de niendo distintos tipos de repartos y soluciones estables. Terminamos con el Capítulo 5, a modo de conclusión, indicando una serie de consideraciones nales y referencias a otros resultados de interés.
This project begins by giving a brief introduction to game theory, mentioning its di erent branches and some of its main elds of application. Chapters 1 and 2 are devoted to noncooperative games in strategic form. In the rst one we introduce some basic concepts and present several theorems on the existence and uniqueness of equilibria, and in the second one we describe two oligopoly models and calculate their equilibria under di erent circumstances. Chapters 3 and 4 focus on the study of cooperative or coalitional games. In Chapter 3 we introduce cooperative games with transferable utility, while in Chapter 4 we will discuss cooperative games without transferable utility, providing in both examples to understand their utility in markets and de ning di erent types of stable allocations and solutions. Chapter 5 concludes with a series of nal considerations and references to other results of interest
