Abstract

In this book chapter, we describe the equipment and methodologies used to isolate and culture the fish parasite Philasterides dicentrarchi, as well as the freezing techniques employed to maintain the parasite for extended periods. We also outline the procedures for transmission, infection, and vaccine preparation.
