Abstract
This paper focuses on the study of the problems caused by parallel trade of medi-cines. The essay starts with the exposition of the concept and the different interests around this com-mercial practice. Then, the legal implications of some of the actions to minimize the parallel trade of drugs are studied: in particular, supply constraints, supply quota systems, dual pricing systems and the exceptions to the exhaustion of the exclusive rights on medicines.
