Para el estudio y divulgación del fondo histórico ilustrado de la Biblioteca Universitaria de Santiago: la exposición Ovidius vivit!: mitos, imágenes y libros

Abstract

El objeto de esta contribución es presentar el planteamiento y el contenido de la exposición Ovidius vivit!: mitos, imágenes y libros, celebrada en Santiago de Compostela el año 2017 con motivo del bimilenario de la muerte del poeta Publio Ovidio Nasón. La muestra se concibió como un ejercicio de alta divulgación y transferencia del conocimiento y la investigación al amparo del proyecto Biblioteca Digital Ovidiana (www.ovidiuspictus.es), además de en una oportunidad de presentar reunido el patrimonio bibliográfico gallego en relación con la obra ilustrada de Ovidio, mostrando el papel de Biblioteca Universitaria de Santiago en las tareas de estudio, investigación y divulgación del patrimonioThis contribution aims to present the approach and content of the exhibition Ovidius vivit !: Myths, images and books, held in Santiago de Compostela in 2017 on the occasion of the Bimilenary of the death of the Roman poet Publius Ovidius Naso.
