Abstract

Therapy of TB consists of many drugs, however, in the last years the mycobacteria have acquired resistance against the classic treatment, which have forced the development of new drugs to be capable to continue treating patients. For HIV, the increasing of ART was very significant to treat the infection. Patients who follow the ART can lead almost normal lives. The same combined drugs are used to treat the coinfection. We must focus on some factors when starting this treatment. In recent years, cases of TB have increased, especially those linked to HIV in developing countries. It’s therefore very important to raise public awareness of the problem and encourage prevention and access to treatment for all those who need it
