Abstract
El fomento del emprendimiento en el ámbito turístico puede ser utilizado por las instituciones como herramienta de desarrollo económico y mejora de la competitividad del sector. Desde las instituciones, especialmente las europeas, en los últimos se han promovido numerosas medidas para aumentar la creación de nuevas empresas. En el caso particular del sector hotelero, la localización es un elemento clave y de gran relevancia, pero a pesar de ello la misma no ha sido considerada en el estudio del emprendimiento. Este trabajo utiliza técnicas de análisis espacial y temporal para la detección de efectos de localización en el emprendimiento hotelero, con el objetivo de identificar potenciales áreas de actuación y potenciar el desarrollo de nuevas líneas de investigación en este ámbito.
Encouraging hotel development can be used by institutions as a tool for economic development and improved competitiveness of the sector. Since institutions, especially European ones, in the past have been promoted numerous measures to increase the creation of new businesses. For the hotel industry, location is a key and very important element, but nevertheless it has not been considered in the study of entrepreneurship. This paper uses spatial and temporal techniques for detection of localization effects in the hotel venture, with the aim of identifying potential areas for action and promote the development of new lines of research in this area analysis
