Most of this work was performed on the LHCb experiment. At rst, I was involved in the installation and commissioning of the Silicon Tracker (ST) detector. The ST is a silicon micro-strip detector which provides precise momentum measurements of ionizing particles coming from the collisions. Afterwards I joined the VErtex LOcator (VELO) upgrade project in the research and development of new sensor technologies for the LHCb upgrade.engEsta obra atópase baixo unha licenza internacional Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0.
