This paper contextualizes these iconographies and suggests relationships amongst them. By comparing them we may gain a greater understanding not only of the type of personages and ways of being-in-the-world they contributed to producing in their respective contexts, but also of their persistence over time and of the long-term connections between them.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Monumental landscapeIron Age statuesStatue-menhirsRock-artMobilityHybridizationWarfareLong-termArchaeology of performativityNorthwestern IberiaArming landscapes: Connectivity and resistance in northwestern Iberia in Late Prehistoryjournal article10.1016/j.jaa.2018.08.002open access
