This study allowed to identify 6 compounds, in which only 2 (eleganolone and loliolide) demonstrated to have neuroprotective and antiinflammatory potential. The results obtained in this work consisted of an initial approach in relation to the neuroprotective potential in a model of Parkinson's disease, allowing these compounds can studied in more complex models and to be used as pharmacological agents in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Parkinson's diseaseSH-SY5Y cellsNeuroprotectionMarine natural productsOxidative stressMitochondrial dysfunctionApoptosisAnti-inflammatory activityMaterias::Investigación::32 Ciencias médicas::3209 Farmacología::320990 Farmacología experimentalNeuroprotective effects of potent antioxidant molecules isolated from Bifurcaria bifurcata and Codium tomentosum in a in vitro and in vivo Parkinson Disease modeldoctoral thesisopen access
