Moenia, 27. https://doi.org/10.15304/moenia.id81462340-003Xhttps://hdl.handle.net/10347/40902Los procedimientos de cita directa en el español contemporáneo, desde un punto de vista discursivo, han sido analizados, generalmente, tomando como base empírica contextos específicos o variantes concretas de la lengua, de modo que existen diversos estudios que atienden a determinadas variedades de la lengua oral y de la lengua escrita, pero ninguno que englobe las dos modalidades en sus distintas posibilidades y las contraste entre sí. El propósito de este trabajo es analizar la estructura formal del estilo directo en función del contexto discursivo, a partir de un amplio corpus de ejemplos que acoge muestras de discurso oral, teatral, periodístico y narrativo en español peninsular e hispanoamericano. Los resultados obtenidos permiten establecer una tipología de variantes del estilo directo prototípico para cada tipo de discurso, así como determinadas características de las construcciones que no solo las distinguen como clase en función del tipo de discurso, sino también, y principalmente, en función de la modalidad lingüística oral o escrita. A grandes rasgos, se puede determinar que el contexto condiciona o, al menos, influye en la configuración formal de las construcciones, la posición de sus miembros y los verbos o fórmulas empleados como introductores de la cita.From a discursive point of view, the direct quotation procedures in contemporary Spanish have generally been analysed on the empirical basis of specific contexts or specific variants of the language, in such a way that there are various studies that deal with certain varieties of the spoken and written language, but none that encompasses the two modalities in their different possibilities and contrasts them with each other. The aim of this paper is to analyse the formal structure of direct style as a function of the discursive context, using a large corpus of examples of oral, theatrical, journalistic and narrative discourse in peninsular and American Spanish. The results obtained allow us to establish a typology of variants of the prototypical direct style for each type of discourse, as well as certain characteristics of the constructions which not only distinguish them as a class according to the type of discourse, but also, and mainly, according to the oral or written linguistic modality. Broadly speaking, it can be determined that the context conditions or, at least, iñflueñces the formal coñfiguratioñ of the constructions, the position of their members and the verbs or formulas used as introducers to the quotation.spa© Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.
