In this thesis, the taxonomic problems of the genus through techniques such as AFLP, MLSA and the study of the complete genome. In addition, we investigate the evolutionary process of the genus, emphasizing one of the most pathogenic species, E. pisicicida. The proteomic studies carried out in E. piscicida, 2D-DIGE and TMT6plexTM have been useful in the identification of virulence factors. Also, we collect all the available information of E. pisicicida in order to update the knowledge of this microorganism.spaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/TaxonomíaEdwardsiellaAcuiculturaMaterias::Investigación::24 Ciencias de la vida::2414 Microbiología::241404 BacteriologíaMaterias::Investigación::24 Ciencias de la vida::2415 Biología molecular::241501 Biología molecular de microorganismosControversias taxonómicas del género Edwardsiella: E. tarda vs. E. piscicidadoctoral thesisopen access
