En primer lugar, se explica la distinción de Jacques Lacan entre pasiones del ser (amor, ignorancia y odio) y pasiones del alma (alegría, tristeza). Después se distingue entre el racismo como fenómeno vinculado al registro de lo imaginario y el odio como apuntando a algo del orden del concepto de lo real lacaniano. Finalmente se formula una caracterización del odio como odio al modo de goce diferente, como odio a la Otredad y como odio al otro que supuestamente obstaculiza la completud social.The text proposes to analyze the contemporary rise of the far-right through a Lacanian-oriented psychoanalytic study of hate. It first explains Jacques Lacan’s distinction between the passions of being (love, ignorance, and hate) and the passions of the soul (joy, sadness). A distinction is then drawn between racism as a phenomenon linked to the register of the Imaginary, and hate as pointing towards the Lacanian concept of the Real.
