It disseminates primarily through the blood stream and is preferably metastasized in the liver. Even with the successful treatment of UM primary tumors, patients are still at risk for metastases more than 20 years after the initial diagnosis. The aim of this study was to provide new insights on potential biomarkers for UM. We investigated DJ-1 actions in a cell culture, new senescence biomarkers in tissue, and the exosomes as a potential new biomarker in this tumor.spaEsta obra atópase baixo unha licenza internacional Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0.
