However, their clinical application remains limited due to their poor ability to cross biological barriers and their low accumulation in target organs. In this context, nanotechnology has emerged as a key tool to overcome these challenges. This thesis explores the use of nanosystems to enhance the delivery of siRNA and mAbs in lung cancer and central nervous system diseases. Furthermore, it emphasizes the use of nuclear imaging tools, such as Positron Emission Tomography and Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography, to assess the in vivo distribution and behavior of these nanosystems, with the aim of optimizing their development and facilitating their clinical translation.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/NanotechnologysiRNAmonoclonal antibodiesnuclear imaging320802 Acción de los medicamentos320908 Preparación de medicamentos320910 RadiofármacosTheranostic nanocarriers for targeted delivery of monoclonal antibodies and siRNAdoctoral thesisembargoed access
